Tonight I'm downloading like crazy. One of the songs is Echo & the Bunnymen's Lips Like Sugar . I saw the band twice. Once in 1984 at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas (combination bowling alley and rock music venue) and in 1985 or '86 at the SDSU arena. At the Bronco Bowl show there was a moment when one of the spotlights swung over and shone on a girl dancing by herself. She was wearing a gold lame' dress. The high powered light coupled with the Dallas girl in that reflective dress. The visual of this girl dancing to that hypnotic, rhythmic music has stayed with me since.
